1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula

You are looking at what has to be one of the lowest mile and the most original 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula's available anywhere in the world. Of some 88,587 Firebirds produced, only 13,160 were of the Formula models, now compare that to the Trans Am's where you find 21,779 were manufactured. This car was purchased new on April the 1st of 1987 at Wilen-Cornforth Motors Inc which was the Pontiac Dealer in Puyallup, Washington at the time. Doug, the original and only owner, purchased the car as a gift for his wife. In that 36 years of ownership it has accumulated a scant 16,255 miles. This Firebird Formula has numerous options which include T-Tops that have never been removed, tilt wheel, power windows, and the top of the line AM/FM/cassette with built in equalizer, to name a few. The only blemish to speak of is on the rear spoiler and is because of the construction technique of bonding rubber to a sheetmetal framework and is quite common. We have chosen to leave it as is as it does authenticate this cars unmolested and original condition. What we have done is replace the tires for safety, the rear hatch support struts as they had lost there ability to hold up the hatch, and the AC compressor with the upgrade to R134.
