1950 Mercury Eight Coupe

Here is what we call a mild custom, and some how it has escaped the roof being chopped like most of these Merc's. This spectacular coupe is one of the nicest driving old cars I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Rumor has it that it was first sold in Spokane, Washington and sports the straightest sheetmetal I have seen and as we all black hides no sins. The body has had zero rust ever, and was originally the color you see here. Upgrades that make driving this lead sled anywhere anytime in comfort include dual exhaust with Fenton headers, a one wire alternator, complete 12 volt conversion with a complete new wiring harness, and an interior that only can be described as comfy as any luxury couch you have ever had the pleasure of sitting on. Open the hood and you will find the original flathead that is detailed to the 9's that is coupled up to the column shifted 3 speed complete with a factory overdrive. It even sports an original 1950 Washington State license plate that never needs its tabs renewed. Bottomline is this, it needs nothing other than a garage to call its own! This car is kept offsite in a climate controlled room and appointments must be made to view it.
